Winfield Arts & Humanities Council’s mission is to provide all people with programs, opportunities, and knowledge to enrich their lives through the arts.

 

Requirements

This scholarship is available for organizations that provide educational or cultural arts opportunities for youth.  Only projects that take place in the geographical area served by Winfield Arts & Humanities Council could be funded.  Amount available is $500.  A one to one match (cash or in-kind) is required.

 

Projects considered for funding must enhance education through the arts.         

-Deadline to submit application is November 15, no late applications

-Grants will be awarded by January 6

-Explanation of link between the arts and education

-Realistic budget/realistic request

-Numbers to be served

-Projects must take place between January 6 and December 18 of the award year

-Final report is required and is due 30 days after the completion of the project

The committee may request an interview of the applicant if it seems necessary.

The Scholarship Award

Notification of the award will be made by January 6.
